I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3
From their first meeting Leah knew that Ricky was the man she had been praying for but life took them different directions for a few years until they were set up on Halloween in 2015. Finally they were in the same place and could make things official. They’ve been building a home together ever since and married in Ashland, Kentucky at the historic Train Depot and enjoyed night time portrait around the historic Paramount Theater.
John + Toni met almost a decade ago and have followed each other from New York to Kentucky for jobs and school- frequenting breweries inbetween. They love to spend time together in the Distillery District so we strolled around on a steamy summer evening clinking glasses of beer to all of life's excitements- like their upcoming wedding, trip to the Mediterranean and their Pomeranian pup!
When I met up with Autumn + Joey for their maternity session last week the gender of their little babe was still unknown- but they have since welcomed a beautiful baby girl! Autumn shared their journey of love through joy and hardship and that it was so special to have images to document this chapter in their story together. Join us for their sunrise session at McConnell Springs in Lexington, Ky.
We've all heard of high school sweethearts- but John + Mary Catherine go all the way back to middle school. These two have literally grown up together and after more than a decade as boyfriend and girlfriend they get to upgrade to Mr. + Mrs. around this time next year! Join us for their beautiful engagement session at Shakertown in Harrodsburg, KY.
My favorite thing about photographing Joyce + Bryan and their spunky boys is that whenever I show a Joyce a photo on the back of the camera her reply is almost always, "awww, my boys!" regardless of who the photo is of. <3
Join us for a gorgeous sunny evening at Waveland Historic Home together. There were dirty knees and time to swing and the noises of trains and planes and little toes curling in the grass. You don’t want to miss it. <3
