Steven and Monika are Kentucky natives and travel nurses. They currently live full-time in an RV in Reno, Nevada with their precious pups. On a recent trip back to Kentucky we visited Red River Gorge to document their love for each other and their sense of adventure at Grays Arch (where they shared one of their first dates) and Miguels Pizza! Join us for their adventurous Red River Gorge engagement session.
While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. I hope that chemistry shines through in their photos and I can.not.wait to be part of their multi cultural celebrations this fall! Enjoy! <3
Meet The Coach House at Zorro Event Center! Is it weird to meet a building? Not when it’s one of the most gorgeous new event spaces in Lexington, Ky! Located in an area popular for fox hunting the Spanish word for fox, Zorro, is a fitting name for this gorgeous newly built barn set in the bluegrass countryside. It’s seamless interior boasts stone floors, reclaimed wood walls, hidden entrances off the main space and multiple sets of double doors that open up to views of the surrounding fields and forest (and none of that includes the phenomenal upstairs spaces!). Join us for a beautifully styled wedding that can help you imagine yourself celebrating in this exquisite space!
Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. Enjoy some favorites from their vows at Second Presbyterian Church and the celebration that followed at Idle Hour Country Club!
Join Ray + Whitney for their spring wedding day at the Historic Bell House in Lexington, Kentucky! These two musicians met ten years ago and in the years since have built a deep and beautiful love for each other that’s simple, honest and passionate. Their day was filled with family, community, music and sentimental touches that didn’t leave any eye in the house dry at some point during the celebration. Enjoy!
Justin + Jessica met through mutual friends while attending Transylvania University. After Justin graduated they made things official and have been enjoying of concerts, drinking bourbon, stand up comedy shows and their dog, Kobe, since 2012. For their engagement session we visited many places in Lexington they love- including Transy where they met, The Burl where they love to see shows, The Lexington Distillery District and a favorite bar of theirs, The Village Idiot, and ended the evening with some after dark photos in downtown Lexington. Enjoy! <3
For a couple who spent most of their lives living within 15 minutes of each other they finally started hanging out due to geographical convenience when they both moved to Cincinnati in 2016. Since then they’ve built a life together in Over the Rhine with their cats Godric and Helga. They got engaged last summer in the industrial loft home they share, much like Monica and Chandler did on “Friends”. Decidedly non-traditional, they chose to celebrate their love with a Friday elopement in Alms Park, portraits in Over the Rhine, the neighborhood where they fell in love, drinking at their favorite dives and a next day dance party at the Oscar Event Center with their favorite loved ones. It was truly very them! Enjoy!
Over five years ago Cody + Sara Sims had their first date at the farm that Cody grew up on. After years of dating, a lot of a anticipation, and a questionable story about a forgotten wallet- Cody got down on one knee on the porch of the same cabin and asked a very important question. Sara of course said, “yes!” so it was the perfect setting for their engagement session and where they'll tie the knot later on this year. I just loved spending an evening with them and can’t wait to document their celebration in October. Enjoy!
